SUMMARY:Enormity\, Girl\, and the Earthquake in Her Lungs
DESCRIPTION:Time stands still as Vic crash-lands in a women’s shelter. The more she tries to listen to her inner voice\, the more the fractured perspectives of her personified mind clamour to be heard. Enormity offers a highly physical\, fresh\, and unexpectedly comedic take on a woman in her 20s seeking refuge. \n\n\n\nEnormity\, Girl\, and the Earthquake in Her Lungs was developed in Nightwood Theatre’s esteemed Write from the Hip program\, marking a 10-year collaboration for celebrated artists Chelsea Woolley (playwright) and Andrea Donaldson (director).

SUMMARY:Zuleykha Odyssey: Dancing With Love in Seven Valleys
DESCRIPTION:Zuleykha Odyssey: Dancing with Love in Seven Valleys invites audiences to experience a journey of sound\, spirit\, and poetry—where East meets West\, and where love becomes both the question and the answer. It is the unfolding of a soul seeking wholeness. \n\n\n\nFrom earthly passion to cosmic bewilderment\, through pain\, joy\, and transformation\, Zuleykha journeys beyond the self—discovering love not as desire\, but as divine essence. Zuleykha\, a legendary figure from Middle Eastern spiritual tradition\, is remembered in classical literature as the woman whose consuming love for Joseph became both her trial and her path to enlightenment. \n\n\n\nHistorically portrayed as a symbol of temptation and longing\, she has often been defined by her unfulfilled desire. In this reimagined vision by composer Afarin Mansouri\, Zuleykha emerges not as a passive figure\, but as a seeker of truth—a woman whose journey through passion\, heartbreak\, and awakening becomes an allegory for the soul’s quest for unity with the divine. \n\n\n\nThis staged concert production presents selected scenes from Mansouri’s opera Zuleykha\, performed in Farsi with a live instrumental and vocal ensemble. The performance blends Persian poetry\, operatic expression\, and visual design\, guiding the audience through Zuleykha’s transformation along Attar’s Seven Valleys of Love.

SUMMARY:Ana Sokolović’s Love Songs
DESCRIPTION:Theatrical adaptation and staging by Michael Hidetoshi Mori \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat happens when you can’t let go of lost love? \n\n\n\nA heartbroken woman embarks on a hauntingly beautiful journey\, experiencing the love stories of different people in a desperate search for her lost love. \n\n\n\nSynopsis\n\n\n\nAfter the death of her beloved who was a dancer and the love of her life\, a woman is in denial about her loss. Desperate to see her love again\, she creates her own ritual\, combining treasured remembrances with symbolic ingredients. In a remote clearing in the woods she attempts to channel the supernatural and bring him back. Her “spell” is anchored by the words\, “I love you” recited in every language in the world. To her surprise\, as she lights a circle of candles\, she begins to vividly relive what seem to be her memories of their life together. Her lover appears as a sound\, as a shadow\, with every vision moving closer to her. As the visions intensify\, the woman realizes that they are not all her stories\, but the stories of others that somehow parallel hers\, but with him always as the lover. But with every candle\, every vision… there is a cost.
